Q: Is club soccer for my child?
A: Before your child tryouts for the SCOR FC, please be sure that you and your child are aware of the commitment to the club and team. When you commit to the SCOR FC- it is a whole year commitment.
Q: What is the cost to play for the SCOR FC?
A: The fees for the 2010-2011 season for SCOR is as follows and can be paid in in several installments over the course of the year. Unlike many other clubs, the fee includes everything (except the uniform).
Please keep in mind our fees are on average 75% lower than our on-field club soccer competitors. Our primary mission is not to make money (although we need to remain solvent), but to develop our youth. We remain committed to providing an affordable option to families.
– U9 and up $790 ($320 due at reg, $320 due 10/1, $150 due 2/1)
– SCOR Rovers Academy Spring & Fall Advanced Training Program $110 (each season)
The fee includes: Fall and Spring competitive league fees (MAPLE or MASC), licensed coaching, indoor practice and league fees and at least one tournament per (fall/spring) season.
Q: Does the club offer scholarships?
A: As it is our philosophy not to turn away players for the sake of their financial status, we do offer a scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded based on need - not ability.
The scholarship application can be obtained from your team manager or at the annual registration.
Q: How often does a team practice & play?
A: All teams will practice two times per week beginning in August and play games on Sunday.

During the fall, teams, play 9 season games plus any qualifying tournaments they may have to enter. The regular season runs from September to mid-November.
- During the winter season all teams will practice 1 to 2 times per week and/or play at least one session of either indoor soccer or futsal .
- During the spring, teams, play 7 season games plus any qualifying tournaments they may have to enter.
Q: How can I help with fundraising?
A: Individual team fund raising is available for all teams that would like to participate in approved programs. Please contact our club Directors for more information. They will explain the programs that are available and help to guide you to a successful campaign. Remember, certain events are reserved for club fund raising. These events are: dinners and dances, raffles and corporate website sponsorships.

SCOR Rovers Academy, Fee $110 Per Spring/Fall Season
• Spring will be 7 weeks longs starting April 13th.
• The cost is $110.00
• We will offer three soccer sessions per week in three different towns. You can go to the field that is closest to you or you can go to all three.
• Training will take place three days a week.
• Friday Nights – Club training at the Central Tree Middle School Rutland, or Roach field Hardwick
• Saturday Mornings – QYS inter-league games
• Sunday Nights – Club training at the Town Recreational Fields Hubbardston
• Friday and Sunday practices will be an hour long. 45 min will be set aside for training. The last 15 min will consist of small sided scrimmages with rules geared to the training of that day.
• Saturdays will be a small practice with a Match to follow. Academy students will be split into teams that will participate in the Quabbin Youth Soccer U6/U8 Spring Instructional Inter-League season.
